Run without pain.
Sprint without limits.
Custom programs for pain-free movement, explosive speed, and real recovery — built around your body, not a template.
Programs
Pick your path. Nick builds the plan.
Every program starts with a movement screen and is built around your body — not a template. In-person at SHED Southie, in your home, or on Zoom.
Run Without Pain
You used to run — then something broke. Nick finds the movement dysfunction causing your pain, rebuilds the pattern, and gets you back on the road. No surgery. No guessing.
Sprint Faster
Mechanics, force production, and acceleration drills designed to shave real time. Whether you're a competitive athlete or chasing a PR, this program builds raw speed.
Movement & Gym
A structured program that pairs corrective movement with gym work. You'll train with purpose — loaded mobility, functional strength, and programming that evolves with you.
Recovery
For bodies that have been through it — post-injury, post-surgery, or just years of wear. Breath work, assisted stretching, corrective exercise, and a path back to feeling normal.
Power & Plyometrics
Explosive training for athletes who need to jump higher, cut faster, and produce more force. Med balls, box jumps, ladder work, and sport-specific power programming.
Who this is for
Broken runners.
Future sprinters.
Nick works with people who want to move without pain and athletes who want to move without limits. If you’ve tried everything and nothing stuck — this is different.

- You used to run — now every step hurts and nobody can tell you why.
- You want to get faster but your training has plateaued.
- You've been told you need surgery — but want to try everything else first.
- You need a real program — not random workouts from Instagram.
- You're recovering from an injury and need structured programming to come back stronger.
- Your kid is a competitive athlete who needs speed, power, and injury prevention.
About Nick
10 years reconnecting
people with their bodies.
Nick has spent a decade in the fitness industry working with clients aged 10 to 85 — from post-injury rehabilitation to youth athlete development. He’s a senior fitness and corrective movement specialist whose philosophy starts with one belief: “Pain should only be temporary, not tolerable.”
At Health In Motion, the mission is to reconnect people with the way their bodies are meant to move. Nick combines structure, creativity, and science to develop lasting habits — not temporary fixes. You can train anywhere, with minimal equipment, and still reach your goals when the programming is right.

Movement in action — mobility work, corrective drills, and client transformations.
Common questions.
- I haven't run in years. Can you actually help?
- Yes. Most running pain comes from movement dysfunction — not the running itself. Nick screens how you move, finds the pattern causing your pain, and rebuilds it. Many clients are running again within weeks.
- Is this like physical therapy?
- Nick isn't a physical therapist, but his corrective movement approach often addresses root causes that traditional PT misses. Many clients come after PT hasn't resolved their pain — and find lasting relief through movement retraining.
- Can I do this on Zoom?
- Absolutely. The movement screen, program delivery, and 1:1 coaching all work virtually. You'll need minimal equipment — Nick designs around what you have.
- I'm a young athlete — is this for me?
- Yes. Nick programs sprint mechanics, power development, and plyometrics for athletes 16—25. Speed, agility, injury prevention — all structured around your sport and season.
- Where do in-person sessions happen?
- SHED Southie (141 Dorchester Ave, South Boston), in your home anywhere in the Boston area, or on Zoom. Pick whichever fits your week.
- What does it cost?
- The first movement screen is free. Nick will share program pricing after your screen. Every session is 1:1 — no group classes, no shared attention.
